It Won't Bring Your Honey Back, But It's Still Damn Funny

Published on 30/11/99 in Movies
Some genius trimmed down the recent remake of The Wicker Man into a 2-minute "best of" clip, and it's so funny you'll be clamoring to bring on the bees.

Remember the Nicolas Cage-starring remake of The Wicker Man? No, of course you don't. It showed in four theaters at the beginning of September and then disappeared. Anyway, in case you missed it and don't want to spend four bucks renting it, check out this two-minute synopsis of all the best parts.

My god, that couldn't have had less to do with The Wicker Man if it tried. Seriously, you could have replaced the entire cast with sassy anthropomorphic hippos, and it would have been a more accurate remake. Written on 16/1/07
Well, yeah. That's the point.

Meanwhile all the boring parts are taken out and all the parts that make the hero look like the bad guy are all tied up in a neat little package. Written on 23/3/07
What a fucking joke! Dressed like a bear, hitting women and stealing bikes. That was terrible. Written on 16/3/07
This video rocks! Written on 20/3/07
One of my friends discovered this video a while back and we all watched it over, and over, and over. Needless to say, "BEAR PUNCH!" is now a meme around these parts. Written on 27/3/07
What would really be great would be a clip of Christopher Lee, in the Cher wig and purple dress, marching through the village in the real Wicker Man....... Written on 30/4/07
That was horrible to watch even for just a while. Written on 19/5/07
ADHD Theatre! That saved me from ever having to watch the stinking turd of a movie.

"AAgh! The bees! Not the bees! The bees are in my eyes!"
The last remaining shred of affection I had left for Nicholas Cage after 'Vampire's Kiss' is gone forever. I've seen better acting at school nativity plays. Written on 9/6/07
My dad and I have been discussing this forever, "WHY must Nicholas Cage ruin his credibility by doing one low budget film after the next?!" How about that one where he's on the motor cycle and turns into a flaming skeleton man or whatever... Looks dumb as hell in tv previews... Written on 2/5/08
