Ten Coolest (Fictional) Projectile Weapons of All Time

1. 5th Element: ZF-1
This gun has it all, but the real reason it made the list was because of the "replay" feature. You fire one shot at a specific location and every following shot goes to the same location (regardless of where the gun is pointed). Video: Zorg shows off the ZF-1
2. Rise of the Triad: Drunk Missiles
This weapon simultaneously fires a bunch of heat-seeking missiles that fly in different directions. This weapon was CHOICE for those who had crappy aim but liked making a big mess.
3. Monty Python: The Cow Catapult
From the holy grail, used by french guards warding off english bed-wetting types4. Gears of War: Torque Bow
Anyone who has played GoW should have instantly fallen in love with the torque bow. The satisfaction you get from sticking an enemy with an arrow and a few seconds later watching them explode in a meaty fireball of awesomeness is like candy for the soul.Video: Someone wiping out the entire opposing team with the torque bow
5. Aliens: m56 Smart gun + m240 Flamethrower + electrical tape
Ripley was the original modder: taping a machine gun (one so large it required a body harness) to a napalm-fueled flamethrower. Pwning ur mom-alien.6. Quake II - Rail Gun
This is probably my favorite weapon from any first person shooter, ever. It requires accuracy, speed, and was excellent for "offensive sniping." Video: pssschewwww! (that's railgun onomatopoeia)
7. Minority Report - Concussion Rifle
Though technically not a projectile weapon, the concussion rifle fires concentrated blasts of air that stun your enemy. It's like one of those air guns they sell on thinkgeek, except not crappy.
8. Eraser (film) - Rail Gun
Although a crappy movie, the rail gun in eraser is undeniably cool. The gun itself has a visual display that allows you to see through walls and fire a projectile at near light speed into your opponent, leaving behind a spiraling smoke trail.(Also, that photo is not from terminator. I know it looks like it, but it's actually from eraser. I guess he just likes to pick roles where there's crap on the side of his face.)
9. Starship Troopers: Tactical Nuke Launcher
"You see a bug hole, NUKE IT!" Well said, commander whats-his-face, well said indeed.
Video: Roughnecks nuke some bugs
(nuke makes an appearance at around 4:30)
10. GhostBusters 2: Slime Blowers
Backpack mounted guns that fire slime loaded with psychokinetic energy. Coat the statue of liberty in it and you've got a walking, ghostbusting, unstoppable monster of bluish-grey radness.
Any others you can think of?
